What is Golfify?

Golfify is a mobile app for scoring and hosting golf events from end to end. Whether you're running a casual round with friends or a 400-player tournament, Golfify handles real-time scoring, leaderboards, and statistics automatically.

Before you begin

Download Golfify from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and complete your profile.

How Golfify Works​

Every event you create on Golfify comes with real-time scoring, a live leaderboard, and player statistics built in. Players score on their phones as they play, and everyone can follow along from anywhere.

You can also use Golfify in a more traditional way by entering scores after the round. However, we recommend taking advantage of the real-time features — your players will love watching the leaderboard update as the round progresses.

Who is Golfify For?​

  • Event hosts — golf clubs, charity organisers, corporate event planners, and social groups who want to run professional-quality events without the hassle
  • Players — anyone competing in a Golfify event can score, view leaderboards, and track their stats right from their phone

What Can You Do With Golfify?​

  • Create single-round and multi-round events
  • Set up different competition formats (strokeplay, better ball, scramble, matchplay, and more)
  • Manage player registration with magic links, invitations, or access codes
  • Accept payments for entry fees
  • Display live leaderboards on a TV at the clubhouse
  • Apply handicapping and configure flights and divisions

Do Players Need a Subscription?​

No. Subscriptions and passes are only required by the event organiser, depending on the number of players. Players can join any event for free.

Does Every Player Need the App?​

No. You can add players manually in the Player Manager — they'll still appear on the leaderboard and in groupings as normal. You can include their email address when you add them so they can recover their account if they decide to use the app later.

For the best live experience, we recommend at least one player per grouping has the app installed. If a grouping has no active app users, the host can still enter scores for that grouping from the Player Manager.
