Branding and Image Guidelines
Golfify gives you several places to add your own branding — from event cover images to sponsor logos. Getting the dimensions and format right means your images look sharp on every device. This guide covers what goes where and the recommended sizes for each.
Where you can add branding
There are three main areas where images appear in Golfify:
Organiser logo
Your profile image doubles as the organiser logo. It appears on the event home screen alongside your event details.
- Displayed in a circular crop, so starting with a square image works best.
- This is your account-level profile picture, not a per-event setting.
Event cover image
The large header image at the top of your event home screen. Use it to set the tone — showcase your venue, group, or event theme.
Sponsor logos
Sponsor images appear on the event home screen and in the leaderboard carousel. See Add Event Sponsors for how to set these up.
Recommended image sizes

Best practices
- Keep file sizes small. Many users upload images over mobile networks. Compress your images before uploading — aim for under 500 KB where possible.
- Use simple backgrounds on logos. Busy or transparent backgrounds can look cluttered at small sizes, especially on the leaderboard carousel.
- Mind the safe zone on cover images. The bottom ~90 dp of your cover image is overlaid with the event title. Keep important elements like text and logos above this area.
- Use PNG or JPG format. Both work well. PNG is better for logos with flat colours; JPG is better for photographs.
Preview your images in the app before sharing your event. What looks good on a desktop might crop differently on a phone screen.
How it works
Images you upload are stored with your event and displayed across all devices — phones, tablets, and TV Leaderboards. Golfify scales images to fit each screen, so using the recommended dimensions ensures they look crisp everywhere.
You can update cover images and sponsor logos at any time, including while the event is live. The organiser logo updates when you change your profile picture in Account Menu.
There's no undo for image removal. If you delete a cover image or sponsor logo, you'll need to re-upload it.
