TV Leaderboards

Want to show your leaderboard on a clubhouse TV, a projector in the event tent, or a screen at the registration desk? Golfify's TV Leaderboard gives you a clean, full-screen, auto-scrolling display that works on any device with a browser — no login required.

Before you begin

Make sure your event is active and players have started entering scores. The TV Leaderboard shows live data and updates automatically.

Here's a quick overview of the TV Leaderboard feature in Golfify.

Access the TV Leaderboard​

You can find the TV Leaderboard link from the Share & Display screen.

  1. From your event, tap the gear icon to open the Host Menu.

  2. Tap Share & Display.

  3. Find the TV Leaderboard link and tap it to open, or copy and share it with anyone.

The link works in any browser and doesn't require a login — anyone with the link can view it.

Display on a TV or Large Screen​

From a laptop or desktop​

  1. Open the TV Leaderboard link in your browser (Chrome or Safari work best).

  2. Enter full-screen mode — in most browsers, go to View → Enter Full Screen.

  3. In Chrome, go to View → Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen and uncheck it to hide the browser bar for a cleaner display.

  4. Connect your laptop to the TV via HDMI, AirPlay, or screen casting.

From a phone or tablet​

  1. Open the TV Leaderboard link in your browser or from the app.

  2. The leaderboard opens in a custom browser view with no address bar or tabs.

  3. The display works on both iOS and Android.

How It Works​

The TV Leaderboard is purpose-built for large screens. A few things that make it different from the standard leaderboard:

  • Auto-scrolling — the leaderboard scrolls continuously through all players, then loops back to the top.
  • Screen stays awake — the device won't go to sleep or lock while the leaderboard is running, even during long rounds.
  • No browser chrome — toolbars and address bars are hidden for a true full-screen experience.
  • Live updates — scores update in real time as players submit them on the course.

If you've set up Divisions, the division filter tabs also appear on the TV Leaderboard.

For the best visual experience, use a device connected via HDMI or AirPlay to your TV. This gives you a clean, dedicated display without any phone or tablet UI getting in the way.
