Customise Stableford Points

Running a Stableford event with your own point system? Golfify lets you change the points awarded for each score relative to par — so you can reward achievements like hole-in-ones with extra points, or adjust the scale to match the format your group has always used.

Before you begin

Your event must use the Stableford scoring format. If you haven't created your event yet, see the Quick Start Guide.

Set Up Custom Stableford Points​

  1. From your event, tap the gear icon to open the Host Menu.

  2. Tap Event Settings, then scroll to Format & Scoring.

  3. Make sure Stableford is selected as your scoring format.

  4. Tap Stableford Points to open the points editor.

  5. You'll see the default point values for each score relative to par (double bogey or worse, bogey, par, birdie, eagle, albatross / hole-in-one). Tap any value to change it.

  6. Enter your custom values. For example, you might set a hole-in-one to 5 points instead of the default.

  7. Tap Save.

Once saved, Golfify labels your Stableford Points as Custom so you can tell at a glance that non-standard values are in use.

How It Works​

After you save your custom points, all scoring in the event uses your values. Both net and gross Stableford totals on the leaderboard reflect the custom allocation.

You can update the point values at any time by returning to Host Menu → Event Settings → Format & Scoring → Stableford Points. Changes apply to all scores in the event, including any already entered.

You can also set up Custom Stableford Points during initial event creation. On the format selection screen, choose Stableford and you'll see the Stableford Points option before the event is created.
