Create a Multi-Round Event

Multi-round events in Golfify let you run tournaments, tours, and series that span two or more rounds — with a combined leaderboard that tracks cumulative results across all rounds. If you're organising anything beyond a single day of golf, this is the format to use.

Create a multi-round event​

  1. From the Home Screen, tap the + button in the bottom-right corner.

  2. Tap Multi-Round Event.

  3. Enter your event details — Event Name, Start Date, and Number of Players.

  4. Select your Facility and Course for the first round.

  5. Tap Create. Your multi-round event is set up with one round included.

Add additional rounds​

Your event starts with a single round. To add more:

  1. Tap the gear icon to open the Host Menu.

  2. Tap Event Settings.

  3. On the Event Settings screen, you'll see a list with Overall Event at the top, followed by your existing round(s).

  4. Tap Add Round at the bottom to create a new round.

  5. Configure the new round's details — date, course, and any round-specific settings.

Each round can use a different course, date, and format if needed.

Understand overall vs per-round settings​

Multi-round events in Golfify have two levels of settings. Understanding the difference is key to configuring your tournament correctly.

Overall Event settings​

The Overall Event row at the top of the Event Settings screen controls settings that apply across all rounds:

  • Event Information — the event name and description.
  • Registration & Payments — player entry and fee settings for the whole tournament.
  • Format, Scoring & Players — the overall competition format and scoring method.
  • Handicaps — handicap mode applied to all rounds.
  • Flights / Divisions — leaderboard splits that carry across the tournament.
  • Feed — the event-wide activity feed.

To access these, tap the gear icon → Host Menu → Event Settings → Overall Event.

Per-round settings​

Each round row below Overall Event opens the Round Settings screen, where you configure settings specific to that round:

  • Round Information — date, time, and round name.
  • Capacity & Tee Sheet — tee sheet configuration for that round.
  • Facility, Course, Tees & Holes — the course and hole selection for that round.
  • Format & Scoring — round-specific format overrides.
  • Handicaps — round-level handicap adjustments.
  • Flights / Divisions — round-specific leaderboard splits.
  • Special Contests — side games for that round only.

To access these, tap the gear icon → Host Menu → Event Settings → [round row].

tip

Settings configured at the Overall Event level flow down to each round by default. You only need to open individual round settings if you want to override something for a specific round — like using a different course or format.

Manage players and tee sheets​

In a multi-round event, the Players & Tee Sheet screen works similarly to single-round events, but with a TEE SHEETS tab (plural) that lets you manage tee times for each round separately.

  1. Tap the gear icon → Host Menu → Player Manager to manage players.

  2. Tap the gear icon → Host Menu → Tee Sheet to go directly to the tee sheets.

Players are added once at the event level and appear across all rounds.

Activate rounds​

Each round in a multi-round event is activated independently. When a round is ready:

  1. Go to the HOME tab.

  2. Tap Activate on the round status card.

  3. Confirm activation.

The overall leaderboard updates cumulatively as each round's scores are entered.

warning

Non-admin players do not see a settings gear on multi-round events. Only the event host and admins can access the Host Menu and manage settings.

How it works​

Once a round is activated, players enter scores just like a single-round event. The multi-round Leaderboard automatically aggregates results across all completed rounds. Players can view their cumulative standing at any time from the LEADERBOARD tab.

After all rounds are complete, the final combined leaderboard and statistics are saved to the event.
