Manage Your Tee Sheet

The Tee Sheet in Golfify is where you organise who plays when and with whom. You can assign players to tee slots manually, let Golfify auto-assign them, adjust start times, and manage groupings — all from one screen.

Access the Tee Sheet​

There are several ways to open the Tee Sheet:

  • Tap the gear icon → Host Menu → Tee Sheet. This opens the Players & Tee Sheet screen with the TEE SHEET tab selected.
  • Tap the gear icon → Host Menu → Player Manager, then tap the TEE SHEET tab.
  • From the HOME tab, tap the TEE SHEET button.

Assign players to tee slots​

Once players have been added to your event, you can assign them to specific tee slots.

  1. Tap any empty slot on the TEE SHEET.

  2. Select a player from the list of unassigned players.

  3. The player appears in the selected slot with their handicap information displayed underneath.

Repeat this for each player you want to place manually.

Auto-assign players​

For larger events, Golfify can assign unassigned players to slots automatically.

  1. Tap Auto Assign Players on the Tee Sheet.

  2. Choose an assignment method:

    • Random — randomly assigns players to groups.
    • Seeded (High to Low) — sorts players by ranking, highest first.
    • Seeded (Low to High) — sorts players by ranking, lowest first.
    • Balanced — distributes players so each group has a mix of skill levels.

  3. Confirm your selection. All unassigned players are placed into available slots.

The Balanced option works well for team formats like Scramble, where you want evenly matched groups.

Manage individual players​

Tap the settings icon next to any player's name on the Tee Sheet to see management options:

  • Change Handicaps — override the player's handicap index, course handicap, or playing handicap for this event.
  • Change Tees — if your event uses multiple tees, assign the player to a different tee.
  • Assign Divisions — place the player into a specific Division or Flight.
  • Unassign Player — remove the player from their tee slot (they stay in the event).
  • Remove Player — remove the player from the event entirely.

Handicap information​

Each player on the Tee Sheet shows three handicap values:

  • World Handicap Index — the player's official handicap.
  • Course Handicap — adjusted for the course and tees being played.
  • Playing Handicap — the course handicap with any event allowances applied.

Manage groupings​

Tap the settings icon above a grouping to access group-level options:

  • View Scorecards — view the scorecard for any player in the group (host only).
  • Change Start Hole — set a different starting hole for this group. Useful for shotgun starts or when groups need to start from specific holes.
  • Adjust Start Times — change the tee time for this group.
  • Unassign All Players — remove all players from the grouping at once.

Additional Tee Sheet tools​

Handicap management​

Tap the handicap management tool to quickly review and edit handicaps for all players in one place. From here you can:

  • View the latest handicap index for each player.
  • Apply handicap overrides.
  • Lock Handicaps to prevent players from changing their own handicaps for the round.

Printable materials​

Golfify can generate printable materials from your Tee Sheet:

  • Cart Signs — print cart signs for each group.
  • Scorecards — print physical scorecards with player information included.

How it works​

Once you've assigned players and activated the event, each player sees their assigned tee time and group when they open the event in Golfify. The Tee Sheet becomes read-only for players (unless you've enabled tee sheet visibility), while hosts can continue making adjustments during the round if needed.

If you lock the Tee Sheet, players who aren't admins will see a Tee Sheet Locked message and won't be able to view their tee time from the HOME tab.
